EU RoHS & UK RoHS Exemptions List Updated with Latest Renewals
Download the Updated List of EU RoHS and UK RoHS Exemptions
In September, several EU RoHS exemptions had expiration dates revised due to the submission of renewal requests for those exemptions.
Per the EU RoHS regulation, existing exemptions for which a renewal request has been submitted shall remain valid until a decision is taken by the European Commission to either indicate a new expiry date or, in case of rejection, grant a transition period of 12 to 18 months before the exemption expires.
In order to track these exemptions and their various expiration date timelines, GreenSoft Technology maintains a compiled list of EU RoHS and UK RoHS Exemptions.
We maintain this list in order to perform EU RoHS Data Services for our customers and to keep our GreenData Manager software up-to-date. We also make this list available online to the public for your convenience and reference.
The compiled EU and UK RoHS Exemptions List has been updated with the latest EU RoHS expiration dates updated per the submitted renewal requests. You can download the updated EU RoHS and UK RoHS Exemptions List here.
Note: In September, the European Commission officially adopted renewal decisions for several EU RoHS Annex III exemptions, including critical exemptions such as 7(a), 7(c)-I, 7(c)-II, 6(a), 6(b), and 6(c). These renewals have not yet been published into the Official Journal of the European Union; and as such, they are not yet in effect. However, they are expected to be officially published in their current form without any further changes by end of year. GreenSoft will be update our combined EU and UK RoHS Exemptions List at that time, and announce such on our blog.
